Fitness Friday

I'm pathetic.

Friday 8/14: FAIL
Saturday 8/15: Hiked approx. 10 miles?
Sunday 8/16: Hiked approx. 6 miles?
Monday 8/17: FAIL
Tuesday 8/18: .....
Wednesday 8/19: HAHAHA
Thursday 8/20: I think this is a pattern.

Here's the deal. I've been punched in the gut with apathy, and I'm going to AGAIN postpone my fitness dreams. I just don't have it in me at the moment. Mike and I have resolved (over and over and over again) to basically start our lives over again when we move into the house. Well, to be honest, since we've been married, we've been kind of in limbo - living at my parents'. It's our way of starting fresh with a clean slate.

Yeah...excuses, excuses. That's me.

So, when we move in, it should be late September, early October. Mike and I want to both get into shape, and we think that during the winter (when we're hibernating) we'll be able to get back into the 30 Day Shred, which is also on my list

Sigh. I'm OK with this, for now.


  1. I know how it is Ashley... I am a Gemini too remember?

    I am NOT a fitness person at all - the maximum I can do for fitness is climb stairs. Go Figure...


  2. I find that the best thing to do is NOT exercise every day. And to vary it. I was doing: run, rest (maybe walk the dog), bike, repeat. Moving has thrown a huge wrench into my schedule because I walk or bike to school now BUT as far as running goes, I do it every third day.
